Dear colleagues!
We invite you to participate in the international conference «Nuclear technologies of XXI century» held in Minsk, on 6 – 8 October of 2010.

The organization of the conference is initiated by Russian Nuclear Society and Joint Institute for Power and Nuclear Research – Sosny, Institute of Power of National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus supported by National Academy of Sciences, Department of Energy of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Protection, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Belarusian Republic Fund of Fundamental Research, International Science and Technology Center.
The objective of the conference is to discuss methodological, ecological and social aspect of nuclear power energy application at the present stage and technical solutions for its achievements.
Participation of specialists from Belarus, Russia, Lithuania, the Ukraine is expected to take part at the conference.
Issues of contemporary development of nuclear power will be discussed at the conference: safety of nuclear plants, nuclear fuel cycle, modernization of nuclear power plants, control of radiation situation, radioactive waste management, staff training for work at NPP.
Special attention will be paid to maters relating to NPP construction in Belarus: energy safety of the country, feasibility study of NPP commissioning and its connection to a grid, project selection and site selection for NPP.
The conference will be opened on 6 October 2010 at 10/00 a.m. at the Presidium of National Academy of Science (87, Nezavisimosti av., underground station is Academeya Nauk).
